Our Director of Music Ministries

Kristian Amundson, Director of Music Ministries, at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church is a graduate of The Catholic University in America with his Master’s degree in Music Composition.

He has written many works for both the church and for concert performance. Works include those performed by Balance Campaign and Grace Episcopal Chancel Choir.

Kristian was named 2023 composer in residence for The Catholic University Wind Ensemble.

He has been involved with Episcopal liturgical music since his days as a choirboy. This lifelong relationship with liturgical music has created a deep appreciation of ministry and a love of community.

Outside of music, Kristian is an avid baker who loves the outdoors and fishing.

Kristian began his ministry at St. Christopher’s in June of 2023.
